Who Are We?

We are the 6th-12th grade youth at Rolesville Baptist Church. We attend different schools, come from different backgrounds, and have different hobbies and interests. We are young people who gather to worship and experience God.  We encourage friendships and build relationships with each other.  We do our best to follow and serve Christ and to learn more about how to be a Christ-follower in our world today.

When Do We Meet?

We meet on most Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the year. Check out our Weekly Schedule for details regarding our weekly gatherings.

Where Do We Meet?

We currently have three buildings on our campus.  The front building with the Steeple is the Sanctuary Building.  If you come to the 10:30 a.m. worship service this is where you will find us.  The middle building is our Education Building.  If you come to Bible Study on Sunday mornings you will find us on the second floor of this building.  We also meet in this building on Sunday and Wednesday nights as well. The third building on our campus is the Family Life Center.  If you come to the 8:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday you will come to this building.  We also meet in this building each week for our Youth Snack Suppers as well.  If you let us know you're coming, we'll be glad to meet you in the parking lot!  Contact Jeff at jpethel@rolesvillebaptist.org or call 919-556-3654  with questions or to let us know when to meet you.

How Do I Dress?

We are more interested in meeting you and getting to know you rather than what you wear. Dress the way you're comfortable and visit with us! Come just as you are!  We'll accept you!

What Can I Expect?

When you visit us on Sunday morning for worship, you will be greeted and given a worship guide (or bulletin) when you enter the Family Life Center at 8:30 a.m. or the Sanctuary Building at 10:30 a.m. During the time of welcome and greeting, you will be asked to sign a friendship register that will be passed to you. We ask all members and guests alike to sign the friendship register. We know that being in a new place can take guests out of their comfort zone. Therefore, we will not single you out by asking you to stand or raise your hand. We will simply ask you to sign the friendship register when it's passed down your row.
If you visit during the Sunday morning Bible Study hour, you will be directed to a class of teenagers your age.  You will be welcomed and greeted.  You will be asked to fill out some guest information.  You will not be called on or embarrassed in any way.
If you visit on a Sunday or Wednesday Evening, you will be asked to complete some guest information and you will be introduced to the group.  We promise to take good care of you.  You will not be singled out or embarrassed in any way.  We'll give you a gift before you leave and will walk you out to the parking lot when our activities end.
You can expect to find a loving and caring group of teenagers and adults who will accept you just as you are.  There is a place for you in the Youth Ministry at Rolesville Baptist Church!
